Registration
Registration is 10-11am on the first Sunday in September at the Clubhouse, but you can register at any time during the year by completing this junior application form and bringing it down with you to a training session. The age grading of all players is determined by their age at midnight on 31st August at the beginning of the season in which marches are to be played.
Training
Training takes place on a Sunday morning starting at 10am. Both players and parents usually go to the Clubhouse after training for refreshments. All teams train on the pitches next to the Stephen Smiths Nursery, which the exception of the U13’s, U14’s and U15’s who train on the Prince Henry’s playing fields at Wharfe Meadows, off Farnley Lane, Otley.
Subscriptions
We charge £35 for Junior Family Membership (£20 for single parents) and the training fees for each child are: £20 for U7’s and U8’s, £25 for U9’s to U12’s and £30 for U13’s and over. This includes a season ticket to watch the First XV, and you can upgrade to become a full member of the club for an additional £50 (£30 for volunteers).
Club Kit
The mini-midi’s (U7’s to U12’s) wear black shirts and shorts with Zebra stripes down the side, and black and white hooped socks. The Junior teams (U13’s and over) wear the same shirts and socks as the First XV but keep the black and white hooped socks. Rugby boots and gum shields are mandatory for child safety, blades are not allowed. All out kit is available through our preferred supplier which is:
